We were founded in 1997 by Jerry and Bertha Maisel, as a private facility for showing Quarter Horses. With Bertha's daughter, Kimberly Ward, we've bred, raised and successfully shown in AQHA as well as Maryland based hunter shows (More info to come.)
Jerry Maisel works at and co-owns his family business, Maisel Brothers. "Maisel Brothers Inc. was established in 1910 as a manufacturer of lightweight concrete block. Since then, they have grown into one of Maryland's largest suppliers of brick, block, concrete pavers and all other landscape and hardscape products."
Bertha Maisel has been showing since her earlier twenties riding hunters and introduced her daughter, Kimberly Ward to the equestrian sport since before she could properly walk. Since then Kimberly has gone from placing 4th in A-circuit leadline when she was a little squirt, to Top 13 at the AQHA World Championship show as a young adult. She has numerous futurity championships with 2 and 3 year olds as well as AQHA All-around's, Superiors, Congress titles and regional
championships and multiple World Championship qualifiers, just to name a few. (Both English and Western Disciplines)
Kristin Ward, Bertha's first daughter, currently works at Maisel Brothers. She has started her own business specializing in custom chocolates. Keep an eye out for this self proclaimed
